Radix Consulting was formed in March, 2007.
Our Team
George Thomas has over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry, primarily with electronic payment systems. He has a strong technology background coupled with extensive knowledge of the Automated Clearing House (ACH), the wire transfer systems - Fedwire and the Clearing House Interbank Payments System (CHIPS), SWIFT and check clearing including the development of the leading private-sector Check Image Exchange system. He specializes in risk management, business to business payments, check conversion and account to account payments. Before forming Radix Consulting, George was an Executive Vice President of The Clearing House Payments Company (TCH). He joined the Clearing House in 1981 and served in a number of positions through his retirement in 2007. In the earlier part of his career at TCH, he was responsible for Computer Operations and Telecommunications, Systems Development and Technical Services. Most recently, George headed up the Payment Services Division and was responsible for ensuring a cohesive payment strategy across all The Clearing House’s payments business units - the Clearing House Interbank Payments System (CHIPS), the Electronic Payments Network (EPN) and the SVPCO business which includes electronic check presentment, image exchange and paper check clearing. Prior to joining the Clearing House, Mr. Thomas was a District Systems Manager for UNISYS. Mr. Thomas served on the Board of Directors for NACHA for fourteen years and as a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) Payments Advisory Group for four years. He served on the Advisory Board for the Center for Technology and Financial Services at Polytechnic University. Mr. Thomas has a permanent Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification. Rossana Salaris, AAP, Principal Before joining Radix Consulting, Rossana was a Senior Vice President, Payments Products, for the Clearing House, where she was responsible for setting the strategic direction for The Clearing House’s ACH, wire and check image exchange solutions. Specifically, Rossana oversaw research, marketing, and sales initiatives across all phases of the product cycle including ideation and introduction of new concepts, product migration and enhancements to existing offerings. An established payments industry leader and innovator, Rossana has been integrally involved in a number of sector initiatives including NACHA’s Direct Deposit/Direct Payment Campaigns, EPN STP 820 and the emerging remittance standard for wire transfers. Rossana has served as a NACHA board member and as Chairman of NACHA’s Marketing Management Group. A prior spokesperson for NACHA’s Pay It Green Alliance in 2007, Rossana was formally recognized by NACHA for her leadership in promoting the benefits of Direct Deposit and Direct Payments. Rossana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
Rossana has over 19 years of experience in marketing, strategy, operations management, product development and executive leadership in financial services with a focus on electronic payments primarily ACH and CHIPS.
